Many thanks to those brave souls who made the hike only to find there was NO BEER!Guiness,lagers, wine and spirits were the order of the day.But spirits were high.
Budgie and Simmo(with man flu') treked down from Alaska-Lodge Moor to you and me-The Simpsons-Beahans to you and me-hiked it from posh Fulwood with off spring-Matt Lee and your writer trudged up from Hunters Bar-but the former was late and Angie Toulson was treated to a night out-her first since the birth of Alfie James-by big spender Lee! We were also joined by Thespo Graham all the way from downtown Dronfield.
Sam-now a TV star on Look North- and his sister-The Pink Princess-helped with the December "100"Club Draw.....and the winners were...Peter Dixon...Budgie(paid out)..Tim Robinson....Emma Robinson..Matt Fletcher...and Mark Simmonds.Congrats to you all..winnings on the way...
Full(!) hockey programme next week, weather permitting! but if not full Notty programme(with beer) and chilled wine for some(!) will be available for those that bother to make the march to Nottigrad.Bob
